So, sometime between last night when the officers ingested a potentially deadly substance which was in
their drinks and this morning,
now NYPD is claiming there was “no criminality?”
Last night, social media and news outlets were ablaze after three New York police officers were given poisonous
substances in their drinks at the “woke” business Shake Shack.
First, the city claimed the act was “intentional.”
Conservative Treehouse reported:
According to the New York Police, three police officers were “intentionally poisoned by one or more workers at the
Shake Shack at 200 Broadway in Manhattan.
After tasting the milk shakes they purchased they became ill, making it necessary for them to go to an area hospital.
Fortunately, our fellow officers were not seriously harmed.”
The Shake Shack corporation previously aligned themselves with the Black Lives Matter movement.
Specifically the corporation said they were we’re taking action “to become better allies, not only for our Black colleagues,
but for the entire Black community.”
Thus current Shake Shack employees can argue their attacks against police was their collective expression of
social justice in carrying out the interests of the organization.
Black Lives Matter. We recognize our?responsibility to?stand up in the fight against systemic
racism and know that words must be accompanied by action.
Todd Starns reported:
The NYC Patrolmen’s Benevolent Association also reported that a “toxic substance believed to be bleach, had been placed in
NYPD source just texted this.
Cops’ food possibly being poisoned.
??URGENT SAFETY MESSAGE??

at the Shake Shack at 200 Broadway in Manhattan.

Yet, within a matter of hours, somehow the NYPD changed their story.
Breitbart News reported:
NYPD Chief of Detectives Rodney Harrison declares that an investigation of the incident did not
find evidence of a crime from any Shake Shack employees.
After a thorough investigation by the NYPD’s Manhattan South investigators, it has been determined
that there was no criminality by shake shack’s employees.

PBA President Pat Lynch said in a statement:
This evening, several MOS assigned to a protest detail in lower Manhattan took meal at the Shake Shack
location on Broadway and Fulton Street.
At some point during their meal period, the MOS discovered that a toxic substance, believed to be bleach,
had been placed in their beverages.
“The contamination was not discovered until the MOS had already ingested a portion of their beverages,” Lynch said.
“They are currently at the hospital receiving treatment and are expected to recover.”

The officers, officials with the Detectives Endowment Association said, were “not seriously harmed” and are
recovering at the hospital.
The PBA is urging NYPD officers to stay in groups and “remain vigilant for the duration of the meal period.”
Shake Shack issued a statement saying they are cooperating in the NYPD’s investigation:
We are horrified by the reports of police officers injured at our 200 Broadway Shack in Manhattan.
We are working with the police in their investigation right now.

The alleged attack comes as Gov. Andrew Cuomo (D), Mayor Bill de Blasio (D), and elected state
Democrats have pushed to reduce funding of the NYPD following weeks-long anti-police riots in the city.
